Waxed Cotton Mac Raincoat Duster Jacket Indigo Blue

Our WOLF waxed cotton raincoat duster coat is a classic long mac crafted from durable, water-resistant waxed cotton. Combining functionality with heritage craftsmanship, our coat is practical enough for countryside adventures but smart enough for commuting and everyday use. Available in 3 colours.

We make these raincoats locally here in the UK using a Halley Stevensons premium matte dry wax cotton. With our usual workwear ethos in mind, this time we’ve gone for simple mac inspired cut. Limited run and built to last.

What is dry wax? A lot like your classic wax jacket (think Barbour) this is still a 100% cotton fabric, densely woven and water resistant as it has been impregnated with wax.  We wanted to make ours stand out so we chose a textured herringbone weave that is reminiscent of French workwear (check out our full herringbone workwear collection here, we're big fans of herringbone!). You don't usually find herringbone fabric used for a classic wax jacket.

Why dry wax? 

• Still 100% cotton
• Less sticky that a classic antique wax
• Modern matte finish
• Lower maintenance (less rewaxing required)
• Develops an attractive antiqued patina over time

We are proud to say our dry wax is grown under the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) for a more environmentally conscious option.

Maintenance:  Re-waterproof in the same way you would a regular wax jacket; with a tin of reproofing wax.

Small batch manufacturing: This product is offered in very limited quantities due to the manufacturing costs and our preference to offer you a selection of different colour options - but this all means small quantities per size.

Condition: Brand new, made by us in England.

Sizing estimates (size chart also in the photos):

Model 1 Chris wears size L. Model 2 Koyho wears size XL. Both went up a size so they could layer it.
