Rare men's overcoats in size L-XL, depending on preferred fit. 2 lengths available. Styled as unisex.
The iconic Strichtarn (German for "line camouflage") aka "raindrop camouflage" was first used within the National People's Army (the Army of former East Germany) from the 1960's up until the 1980s.
These jackets are the long parka version and original deadstock from the 1960s, as seen by the internal date stamping. They have never been worn and are made from a heavy cotton canvas material. Amazing condition with the following features:

SIZING
The jackets best fit large- XL or chest 44-48" depending on the fit you are after. Our model is 5ft 6 tall and this was oversized, she wears the short length version.

CONDITION
Brand new deadstock condition, in storage for 60 years. They have a protective coating on them which would have offered some water resistance. If you prefer you can put it in the washing machine to remove this. These are military surplus items and have been in storage for some time so please be aware you may wish to perform additional laundering if you are sensitive to this.
